Larry Kenneth "Butch" Phillips, age 65 of Jasper, Arkansas passed away Monday, August 13, 2012 at Harrison, Arkansas.
He was born July 14, 1947 in Harrison, Arkansas a son of Ward and Hazel (Phelps) Phillips.
Butch was a self-employed plumber and a life time resident of Newton County.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
Survivors are his wife, Sandra (Ammons) Phillips of Jasper, AR; two sons, Curtis Phillips and Alan Phillips both of Jasper, AR; one brother and sister-in-law, Abby Allen and Cecile Phillips of Jasper, AR; one granddaughter, Destiny Phillips of Jasper and Valley Springs, AR; one grandson, Hunter Phillips of Jasper, AR and nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Memorial service was Saturday, August 18, 2012 at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Jasper with Bro. James Compton and Bro. Charlie Jamison officiating. Private burial will be held at a later date in Jasper Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers were Billy Boswell, Jack Overall, Harry Rhoades, John Wheeler, Randy Laverty, Floyd Morgan, Randy Keef, Tim Boswell, David Morgan, the Jasper Courthouse Whittling Club, Sister Gwen Shaw and staff at Endtime Handmaidens.
