George Lee "Buddy" Reece Jr., age 62 of Hasty, Arkansas passed away Saturday December 8, 2018 in Hasty.

The son of George Reece Sr. and Wanda Lee (Bolin) Reece was born on September 26, 1956 in Harrison, Arkansas.

Buddy was a volunteer for the Hasty Fire Department, a member of Hasty Holiness Church and worked heavy equipment for Newton County for many years.

He was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Kathy Reece.

He is survived by his mother, Wanda Lee (Bolin) Reece of Hasty; a brother, James Reece of Rogers, Arkansas; a sister, Vicki Robertson and husband Floyd of St. Joe, Arkansas; 2 nieces, Erica Robertson of St. Joe and Amanda Fuller of Hasty and many other family and friends who will mourn his passing.

Services will be held Wednesday December 12, 2018 at 2:00 pm at the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Jasper with Pastor Derwin Martin officiating.  Burial will follow in Jasper Cemetery.  Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will include Randy Garner, Robert Bolin, Hubert Bolin, Paul Bell, Ross Jasper and Ricky Davis.  Honorary pallbearers are Derrick Davis, Jeremy Sims and Lexi Coonts.
