Brenda Gail Nutt, age 68 of Harrison, passed away Friday, January 6, 2023 at her home with her family by her side.

The daughter of Vernie and Helen Rene (Reddin) Porterfield was born September 4, 1954 in Malvern, Arkansas.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her infant brother, David Earl Porterfield.

Brenda attended Woodland Heights Baptist Church.  She enjoyed wood working, painting, and decorating cakes.  She was also a florist, a seamstress, and loved crafting. She had a multitude of jobs during her life. She enjoyed working in sales and visiting with people. She loved her children and grandchildren and loved spending time with her family.

Brenda was also very passionate about the Lymphangioleiomyomatosis (LAM) Foundation. She spent a lot of time researching the disease and would contact new patients and inform and share resources with them.  She was mentor to many and enjoyed connecting with the community.

She is survived by her husband, Randy Nutt of Harrison; her son, James Nutt and his wife Marcy Conrad Nutt of Minneapolis, Minnesota; her daughter Stefanie Larson and her husband Brad of Harrison; her brother, Robert Porterfield and his wife Sue of Sheridan, AR; and her grandchildren, Brenna and Tanner Larson and Leo Nutt.

Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 PM Monday January 9, 2023 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.

Memorial service will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at the funeral home.

Honorary pallbearers are Jan Shairrick, Debra Dickson, Bennie McEntire, Sarah Watkins, Todd Beaver, and David Eastep.
