Obituary

Bonnie Sue Peters, age 75 of Harrison, Arkansas passed away Monday, February 25, 2013 at her home.

The daughter of George Washington Howard and Lora Anna (Joice) Howard was born December 31, 1937 in Leota, Missouri.

Bonnie was a homemaker. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and a friend to everyone she met.

She has lived in this area since 1975 and was a member of Northside Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gerald Peters; a brother, Larry Howard; two sisters, Norma Cockrum and Laura Endicott.

Survivors are her children, Jerry Peters and wife Judy of Harrison, Don Peters and wife Roberta of Springdale, Arkansas, Ron Peters of Harrison, Carol Reddell and husband James of Kamuela, Hawaii, Mary Bruce and husband Virl of Fayetteville, Arkansas, and Bonnie Mitchell of Harrison; sisters, Linda Deatherage of West Plains, Missouri, Pauline Rhine and husband Roy of Caulfield, Missouri, Mary Marden of Harrison, and Georgia Robinson and husband Richard of Harrison; brother, Jackie Cooper and wife Pam of Texas; brother-in-law, Harvey Cockrum and wife Frances of Harrison; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and a special niece, Joyce Faulkner of Rochelle, Illinois.

Visitation was Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.

Service was Thursday, February 28, 2013 at Northside Church of Christ with Steve Powers and Jim Gaskill officiating.

Burial followed in Free Union Cemetery at Bakersfield, Missouri with pallbearers being Robert Reddell, Jonathan Peters, Jesse Peters, David Veach, Donnie Peters, and Brian Mitchell.

Honorary pallbearers were Michelle Reddell, Jessica Peters, Kathrine Fox, Morgan Peters, Connie Mitchell, Melissa Bruce, Michelle Raye Jackson, Stephen Fox, Jim Reddell, Ron Peters, Jerry Peters, and Abby Stone.

Memorials may be made to the Paragould Children's Home or to the Southern Christian Home which can be sent to Northside Church of Christ.
