Obituary
Bobby Allen Holtby, Sr., age 77 of Harrison, AR passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2007 at his home following a six year battle with cancer.
The son of Orlo Jackson and Helen J. (Brown) Holtby, was born June 4, 1930 in Wichita, KS.
Bob was a well known local woodcarver and worked at Silver Dollar City for 20 years. He also taught woodcarving classes at North Arkansas Community College.
His parents preceded him in death, along with a brother, Don Holtby.
He is survived by his wife, Melba June Holtby of the home; five sons, Bob A. Holtby, II and wife, Mary, Bill Holtby, Dennis Holtby, and Paul DeDominico and wife, Rose, all of Harrison, and Dominick DeDominico of Bremerton, WA. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, whom were the light of his life. He is also survived by many friends.
The family will have a private memorial service at a later date.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Hope, Inc., 210 S. Thompson, Suite 5, Springdale, AR 72764.
Cremation and arrangements are being handled by Coffman Funeral Home.
