Obituary
Bobby Glen Campbell, age 61 of Western Grove, Arkansas passed away peacefully on February 2, 2016 surrounded by his family.
The son of Carroll and Ivy (Collins) Campbell was born February 5, 1954 at Vendor, Arkansas.
He was a lifelong resident of Newton County, spending the last 18 years at Western Grove. He was of Pentecostal Faith.
Bobby worked in the log woods all his life from the time he was old enough to work. He enjoyed camping, fishing and hunting. He loved his family and spending time with them, his grandchildren and great grandchildren were his pride and joy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carroll and Ivy Campbell, 2 brothers, Jimmy Dale Campbell and Larry Campbell and a sister, Ruth Sanders.
Bobby is survived by his wife of 17 years, Mary of the home; 2 sons, Tony Owens and wife Katie Sue of Dover, AR; Eric Jr. Campbell and wife Lisa of Western Grove, AR; 2 daughters, Chonda Lyn Ralston and husband Page of Fayetteville, AR; Christy Rogers and husband Keith of Western Grove, AR; 5 brothers, E.G. Campbell and wife Sue of Vendor, AR; Eddie Campbell and wife Jane of Coal Hill, AR; Ronnie Campbell and wife Gale of Vendor, AR; Lesley Campbell and wife Theresa of Vendor, AR; Rondal Campbell and wife Kerri of Mt. Judea, AR; 2 sisters, Ineva Curd and husband Floyd of St. Joe, AR; Debbie Hathaway and husband Herb of Diamond City, AR; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Ruth Campbell of Falling Water, AR; Eugene Cross and wife Betty of Mt. Judea, AR; Raymond Cross of Western Grove, AR; Jimmy Cross and wife Judy of Mt. Judea, AR; Bobby Cross and wife Nancy of Western Grove, AR; Debbie Parttridge and husband Greg of Western Grove, AR; 11 grandchildren, Zachary, Stefan, Sheridan, Anthony, Brittany, Trevor, Kelsey, Logan, Haley, Kendra, and Zachary "BooBoo"; 3 great grandchildren, Cloe, Dixie and Aubri; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends who loved him and will miss him dearly.
Services will be Friday, February 5, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Coffman Chapel in Harrison with Bro. Leo Dye officiating. Burial will follow in Smith Cemetery at Vendor, Arkansas.
Pallbearers are Rondal Campbell, Ronnie Campbell, Lesley Campbell, Greg Parttridge, Anthony Owens and Dwayne Farmer.
Visitation will be Thursday February 4, 2016 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
