Bobbie Lee Horn, age 80 of Valley Springs, Arkansas passed away Monday, February 3, 2014 at Cox Medical Center South in Springfield, Missouri.
The daughter of Alden and Oltie (Cline) McAlpin was born September 5, 1933 at Valley Springs, Arkansas.
Bobbie was a member of First Methodist Church of Valley Springs, where she dearly loved her church family. She managed hotels for many years before retiring.
"Meme" was very dedicated to her children, grandchildren, her great-grandson, and all her "adopted" family.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Conard Horn.
Survivors are her sons, Doug Horn and Steve Horn (Joy) of Valley Springs; brother, Joe Bill McAlpin and wife Jean of Valley Springs; five grandchildren, Joel Slay, Teslie Horn, Katie Horn, Shane Horn, and Dalton Horn; great-grandson, Gus Miller; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was Thursday, February 6, 2014 with the service Friday, February 7, 2014 both at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison with Rev. Sandy Garrett officiating.
Burial followed in Bellefonte Cemetery with pallbearers being Scott McAlpin, Gerald Clark, Alan Clark, Boo Coffey, Blake Coffey, Chester Lewis, Chad Spears, and Mitch Sullivan.
Honorary pallbearers were Mike Clark, David Horn, Eugene Woodell, and Denard Horn.
