Bobbie Dee Hickman, Jr., of Compton, Arkansas passed away Friday, December 29, 2017 at home at the age of 57.
The son of Bobbie D. "Bob" Hickman, Sr., and Janet (Sims) Hickman was born December 25, 1960 at Harrison, Arkansas.
He was a lifelong resident of this area, graduating from Harrison High School in 1979 and attended Church of the Open Bible. He was a longtime member of the Compton Volunteer Fire Department and enjoyed riding horses in his younger years. He was a loving son and father and he loved his family and spending time with them.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jonah and Gracie Sims and Frank and Pebble Hickman.
Bobbie is survived by his son, Bobbie Dee Hickman, III of Compton; his parents, Bob and Janet Hickman of Compton; the mother of his son, Mary Hickman of Compton; his brother, William Lee "Billy" Hickman and wife Felicia of Kingston; his niece, Kayla Villines and husband, Terran and their daughter, Gracie of Harrison; four aunts, Shirley Sims of Siloam Springs and Pat Wilsey of Harrison, Frankie Armer of Pea Ridge and Cheryl Jones of Siloam Springs; two uncles, Lonnie Hickman of Jasper and Junior Reavis of Compton and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, January 4, 2018 at County Line Baptist Church in Compton with Pastor Steve Emerson officiating. Burial will follow at Plumlee Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-7 PM at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.
Pallbearers are Scotty Blevins, Leon Reavis, Joe Reavis, Ben Sutton, James Farmer and Terran Villines.
Honorary Pallbearers are Billy Hickman, Tom Armer and Justin Carter.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Compton Volunteer Fire Department.
