Billy D. Rogers, 74 of Harrison, Arkansas passed away Thursday, February 18, 2016 at Hospice House.
The son of Braz and Cydaria (Cy) Davidson Rogers was born February 21, 1941 at St. Joe, Arkansas.
He worked in maintenance for Dogpatch and Johnson Manufacturing for several years. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran.
Billy has been a member of the Northside Church of Christ for 50 years and loved to fish and do woodcarving.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a half-brother, Jim Barnett.
Billy is survived by his wife of 50 years, Mary Sue (Hudson) Rogers of the home, one sister, Peggy Ward of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; several nieces, nephews and a host of family and friends who loved him and will miss him.
Services are Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at Coffman Chapel in Harrison with Minister Steve Powers officiating. Burial will follow in Anderson Flat Cemetery at St. Joe, Arkansas.
Pallbearers are Don Guthrie, Terry Dilts, Ronnie McKinney, Dennis McKinney, Harold Johnson and Roy Martin.
Visitation will be Monday February 22, from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
