Billy Ray Evans, age 63 of Harrison, Arkansas passed away Sunday, December 31, 2017 in Harrison.

The son of Ray Clinton and Oma Lee (Wilhelm) Evans was born on May 22, 1954 in Modesto, California.

Billy was an avid hunter and fisherman.  He loved playing softball and coaching.  He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, grandfather and great-grandfather.  He was a great friend to everyone who ever met him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Helda Evans; a sister Ramona Davis and a brother, Curtis Evans.

Billy is survived by a son, Fred Evans and wife Aaron; 3 brothers, Robbie Evans and wife Debbie, Gary Evans and Ray Evans, Jr.; 5 sisters, Karen Grzybowski, Rae Ann Salmon and husband Mike, Sandra Mae Allen, Sheila Hulsey and husband Kevin and Lori Keirn and husband Troy; 7 grandchildren, Dayton Evans and wife Mercedes, Faith Evans, Peyton Tucker, Noah Evans, Taylor Tucker, Sarah Evans and Traeger Evans; 1 great-grandchild, Addison Evans, along with many nieces, nephews cousins and friends who will mourn his passing.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Bear Creek Baptist Church with Ricky Moore and Robbie Evans officiating.
