Billie Wayde Lackey, age 93 of Jasper, AR, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, October 29, 2023.

The daughter of Roy and Lottie (Cranford) Walker was born October 4, 1930 in Newton County, Arkansas.

Billie is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Preston Lackey; her brothers, Doyle Dixon and LC Walker; and her sister, Delta Jones.

Billie was a member of the Low Gap Full Gospel Church. She enjoyed cooking, canning, gardening and going to church. She most enjoyed spending time with her family.

Billie is survived by her children, Ronnie Lackey and wife Shirlene of Low Gap, Debbie Edgmon and husband Ron of Lead Hill, AR, Beverly Newton of Low Gap, and Paulette Higginbotham and husband Jeremy of Greenbrier, AR; her grandchildren, Toinette Madison, Greg Lackey, Kristie Aulds, Becky Fountain, Trey Newton and Preston Higginbotham.

She is survived by her great grandchildren, Lucas Madison, Glendon Lackey, Gavin Lackey, Gessalyn Lackey, Abbey Aulds, Hannah Aulds, Layton Aulds, Brooks Fountain, Lexi Fountain and Cheyenne Fountain.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m., Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper.

The funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at the Low Gap Full Gospel Church with Kelvin House and Kenny Clark officiating. Burial will follow at Low Gap Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Greg Lackey, Trey Newton, Lucas Madison, Gavin Lackey, Layton Aulds and Brooks Fountain.

Honorary pallbearer is Johnny Fountain.
