William "Bill" Franklin Parker, of Harrison, passed away on Sunday, August 20, 2023 at The Springs of Mt. Vista.  He was 79 years old.

The son of William Coleman and Myrtle Bea (Spencer) Parker was born on September 7, 1943 in Compton, Arkansas.

Bill retired from ARKHOLA after 20 years of service.  He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.  He was a Christian who truly loved God and read his bible every day. Bill loved to have fun and enjoyed telling jokes to make others smile; and was always willing to help others in need.  Bill was a devoted husband, father, and Papa.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Doyle C. Parker; two sisters, Fern Davidson and Margie Villines; one son-in-law, Frankie Davidson; and one nephew, William Steven Parker.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Pauline Parker; two daughters, Lisa Davidson and Christine Holder and husband, Gene; five grandchildren, Shelby and her husband, Tyler, Daylin, Tyler, Scarlett, and Amanda; two great grandchildren, Olivia and Oaklee; one brother, Jerry Parker; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.

Visitation is Friday, August 25, 2023 at Coffman Funeral Home of Harrison from 6:00 to 8:00 PM

Graveside service is Saturday, August 26, 2023 at Plumlee Cemetery at 11:00 AM.  Brother Robert Huber will officiate.  Pallbearers are Tyler Smith, Daylin Davidson, Gene Holder, Tyler Holder, Kevin Parker, and Mike Parker.  Honorary pallbearers include Bobby, Kenneth, Charlie, Ricky, and Cecil Farmer, Willie Villines, and Jerry Parker.
