Arthur "Bill" Vernon Henson, age 77 of St. Joe, Arkansas passed away on July 16, 2012 at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison, Arkansas.
The son of Jim and Iva (Surber) Henson was born on July 11, 1935 in Fowler Springs, Arkansas.
He liked to hunt and fish.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Sister, Madge Henson and three infant brothers.
Survivors are his wife, Joyce (Brewer) Henson of St. Joe, Arkansas; sons, James Henson of St. Joe, Arkansas and Jack Henson of St. Joe, Arkansas; daughters, Kathy Cowan and her husband Carl of St. Joe, Arkansas; brother, Alvie Henson of Marshall, Arkansas; sisters, Retha Lewis of Pindall, Arkansas, Betty Tuck of Ft. Smith, Arkansas and Ula Mae Delk of Oklahoma;grandchildren Derrick Cowan and Corey Cowan; many nieces, nephews, friends and relatives.
Visitation was Thursday, July 19, 2012 at the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Harrison, Arkansas.
Graveside Service was Friday, July 20, 2012 at Kilburn Cemetery.
Jerry Cowan officiated.
Pallbearers were family and friends.
Honorary pallbearers were John Nichols, Jerry Swafford, Troy Daniels and all of his hunting buddies.
