B.F. Hodges 90, passed away on May 6, 2012 at the Hospice House in Harrison, Arkansas.
His parents were James Patrick Hodges and Edna (Williams) Hodges.
He was born January 6, 1922 in rural Shelby County, Tennessee. B.F. married Clara Richie on May 4, 1940 in Memphis, Tennessee. They had two children, Mike and Bob. B.F. was preceded in death by Clara, his wife of 57 years; son Mike; his parents; and seven brothers and sisters. He is survived by Bob and wife Shirley; daughter in law, Pollyanna; four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Steve Hodges, Rob Tanner, Todd Hodges, Jack Hill, Ron Hodges, Shady Brown, Noel Coles, and Morris Mathis.
Visitation was Saturday, May 12, 2012 with services following at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison. Reverend John Darnell officiated. Burial followed in Maplewood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Mike Hodges Scholarship at North Arkansas College Foundation, 1515 Pioneer Drive, Harrison, Arkansas 72601 or to the Hospice House Building Fund, 501 E. Sherman St., Harrison, Arkansas 72601.
