Beverly Elizabeth DeMuth, age 83 of Jasper, AR, passed away Thursday, March 10, 2022 after a long battle with Parkinson's disease at the Newton County Nursing Home in Jasper.
The daughter of Captain John and Ethel (Berlin) McIntosh was born November 4, 1938 in Lowell, Massachusetts.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Robert Landers.
Beverly was a member of the Jasper United Methodist Church. She was a volunteer for Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) and a certified volunteer fire fighter for Mt. Sherman fire department. She supervised the children that worked at Angel Works in Jasper for many years. She won the Big Sister of the Year Award in Lake Charles, Louisiana. She was also the manager of the Harmony House in Jasper and one of her biggest accomplishments was that she established the Domestic Abuse Women's Network in Jasper.
Beverly is survived by her husband Dick DeMuth of Mt. Sherman, AR; her children, John Landers of Hoschton, Georgia, Elizabeth Verrett and her husband Kyle of Gillis, Louisiana and Dana Landers of Lake Charles, Louisiana; and six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
