Betty Anne Watts, age 77 of Harrison, Arkansas joined her loved ones in her Heavenly home on Friday, May 31, 2013.

The daughter of John W. and Hazel (Williams) Phelps was born January 23, 1936 in Harrison.

Betty married her husband, Bob J. Watts on January 23, 1954. She was a member of First Christian Church. She worked as a Bookkeeper in Harrison and a Clerk at the State Capitol while her husband was serving in the State Legislator. She also enjoyed working on the farm, fishing, camping and vacationing.

Betty loved large Thanksgiving Dinner gatherings and had hosted them for 40 years.

She was very active in her children's school activities being involved in Boy Scouts and was the President of PTA. She was also an avid athletic enthusiast and a member of Harrison Moose Lodge.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, David Watts; and a brother, Kenny Phelps.

Survivors are her husband of 59 years, Bob J. Watts of the home; son, John R. Watts and wife, Terri of Harrison; daughters, JoAnne Watts of Harrison and Becky Robinson and husband, John of Rally Hill, Arkansas; brother, John T. Phelps and wife, Jackie of Harrison; sister, Martha Drewry and husband, John of Harrison; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 5-7 P.M. Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.

Memorial graveside service will be 10 A.M. Thursday, June 6, 2013 at White Church Cemetery with Dr. David Artman officiating.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or to the Boone County Historical Society.
