Obituary

Betty Lou Moore, of Bergman, passed away on Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison.  She was 85 years old.

The daughter of Willie Hutcheson and Donia Eugina (Dees) Hutcheson Morgan and stepfather, Oliver Morgan, was born on March 10, 1938 in Boone County, Arkansas.

Betty was an amazing mom, aunt, and mother-in-law but most importantly a wonderful grandmother and Nana.  She was a friend to many and loved helping others.  Betty enjoyed crocheting, puzzles, arts and crafts, bingo, gospel music, and pretty flowers and plants.  But above all she loved her family.

She was a resident at Hillcrest Home.  She loved and adored her family there at Hillcrest and all of the kind things they did for her including, painted art work, special pillow cases, plants, and the other surprise gifts of all kinds.  Betty appreciated all of it.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Junior Moore; her parents; her grandparents; her brothers, Jim, Paul, Jesse, Mack, and Jack Hutcheson; and her sisters, Anna Langloss and Willia Moore.

Survivors include her three children and their spouses, Donia Lou and Jack Cook, Jesse and Aimee Moore, and John and Stacy Moore; nine grandchildren, Stephanie Chapman and her husband, Zach, Andrew Moore, Tyler Moore, Gabe Moore, Caleb Moore, Keygn Byerley, Joseph Moore, Jammie Washington, and Izabella Moore; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Visitation will be at 1:00 PM followed by the funeral service at 2:00 PM both on Friday, August 11, 2023 at Coffman Funeral Home of Harrison.  Pastor Brent Fisk will officiate.  Burial will be in Dees Cemetery in Bellefonte.  Pallbearers are Zach Chapman, Larry Rogers, Mark Rogers, Andrew Moore, Caleb Moore, Gabe Moore, James Hensley, and her other grandsons.  Honorary pallbearers include the staff and residents at Hillcrest Home, Dr. Blake Chitsey, and her former doctor, Dr. Adam McCall.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Snow Full Gospel Church, 100 MC 3026, Yellville, AR 72687.
