Betty Lovaas, age 72 of Yellville, Arkansas passed away in the Snow Community at her home on Monday, November 14, 2011.
The daughter of Maynard and Louise Uran was born March 7, 1939 in New Town, North Dakota.
She was a member of St. Andrews Catholic Church and was a Christian who loved and served her Lord. She was a homemaker and enjoyed reading, sewing and being with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; six sisters; one brother; and a great-granddaughter.
She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Robert Lovaas of the home; her four children, Renee and husband Freddy Nichols of Rogers, Arkansas, Daryl Lovaas and wife Lorey of Atlanta, Georgia, Brad Lovaas and wife Elaine of Brookland, Texas, and Carey Lovaas and wife Tere of Harrison; seven brothers; two sisters; twelve grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces, and great-nephews.
There was a memorial Rosary service Thursday, November 17, 2011 with a memorial Mass service Thursday, November 17, 2011 both at St. Andrews Catholic Church in Yellville with Rev. James Fanrak officating.
Honorary pallbearers were grandchildren.
Cremation and arrangements have been handled by Coffman Funeral home in Harrison.
