Betty Frances LaFollette, of Cave Creek, Arkansas went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at home at the age of 79.

The daughter of Dewey Holt and Lillie (Flud) Holt Johnson was born December 22, 1938 at Mount Judea, Arkansas.  She was a lifelong resident of Newton County and of Pentecostal faith.  She attended church at Bethlehem and Lick Creek.

Betty loved being outdoors, she enjoyed woodcarving, hunting, fishing, 4-wheeler riding and arrowhead digging.  She was a hunting and fishing mentor to her family and a very good Christian.  She was a devoted wife and loving mother and grandmother and she loved having her family together.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Bob LaFollette; four sisters, Irene Johnson, Fay Collins, Maglene Knight and Delorse Reddell; and four brothers, Charles Holt, Silas Holt, Zemery Johnson and Eulis Johnson.

Betty is survived by her sons and their wives, Keith and Janice LaFollette of Cave Creek and Kevin and Renee LaFollette of Mount Judea; two brothers and their wives, Dale and Barbara Johnson and Leamon and Sue Johnson all of Omaha; her sister, Oma Bolin of Mount Judea; four grandchildren, Alesha Clayborn, LaTrisha Lawrence, Brett LaFollette and Bailey LaFollette; five great grandchildren, Chase Clayborn, Kaiden Clayborn, Gabriel Clayborn, Kiana Lawrence and Zane Lawrence and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who loved her and will miss her dearly.

Funeral Services were at 10:00 AM Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Jasper.  Burial followed at Dodson Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Kevin McCutcheon, Roy Greenhaw, Glen Henson, Danny Freeman, Daniel Bolin and Darrell Patton.  Honorary pallbearers are Kevin Clayborn, Sheldon Bolin and Legacy Hospice Nurses and Staff.

Visitation will be Friday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
