Betty June Rogers, age 69 of Yellville, passed away at the Hospice House in Mtn. Home, AR on Saturday, October 9, 2010.
The daughter of Thomas and Edna (Atchison) Woods, was born Juy 26, 1941 at Ridgedale, MO.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Neal Woods.
Betty enjoyed helping others, caring and being with family and friends. She loved the outdoors and all its beauty. She was a member of Church of God. She loved working in her garden and loved all animals. She was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother,Sister and Daughter.
She was married to Troy Buster Rogers on Oct. 30, 1958 who survives her. Also surviving are her children, Troy Lee Rogers and wife, Lisa of Lead Hill, Rita Dickey and husband, Larry of Lead Hill, Glenda Rogers and David Holland of Omaha, Brenda Billings and husband, David of Omaha; 10 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; three sisters, Paula Hill and Carolyn Bailey both of Delight, AR, Marion Bowman of Green Forest, AR, one brother, Warren Woods and wife, Linda of Omaha, AR.
Service is Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2010 at 10:00 AM at Monarch Tabernacle Church with Kevin and Craig Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in Milum Cemetery at Lead Hill.
Pallbearers are, Alvie Floyd Lane, Randy Henderson, Mike Blankenship, Otto Saylors, Arthur Waggoner, and Rex Watts. Honorary pallbearers are his grandkids, Dr. Charles Klepper and staff, Dr. White, Mt. Home Hospital, and Hospice House of Mtn. Home.
