Obituary

Betty Lou Campbell, of Piercetown, passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at Countryside Health and Rehab Center in Jasper, Arkansas.  She was 87 years old.

The daughter of Andrew and Velva (Crow) Alspach was born on July 10, 1938 in Bellefonte, Arkansas.

Betty was a devoted member of Piercetown Holiness Church. She had a passion for photography and scrapbooking, and she took great joy in tending to her flower garden. A dedicated genealogist, Betty spent countless hours researching her family's history. She also cherished the companionship of her beloved little dog, Cocoa — affectionately known as "Baby."

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Loyce Quentin Campbell; three sisters, Violet Ricketts, Joan Royce, and Mary Campbell; and one brother, William Jessee Alspach.

Survivors include one son, Andrew Loyce (Michele) Campbell; two grandsons, Thomas Guthrie Campbell and Quentin Marshall Campbell; one sister, Jane (Curtis) Clark; three nieces who have had the honor of taking care of her, Judy Cross, Pamela Delahunt, and Sonya Vanderpool; special nieces, Betty Eddings, Peggy Ransom, Frances Smith, and Marla (Keith) Ricketts; special friends, Ralph Day and D'Lorah Dunlap; and a host of other family and friends.

Graveside service will be Friday, November 14, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Ricketts Cemetery in Vendor, under the direction of Coffman Funeral Home of Harrison.  Allen Smith will officiate.  Pallbearers are Michael Cross, Jimmy Joe Malnory, Keith Ricketts, Johnny Smith, David Dunlap, and Jimmy Royce.  Honorary pallbearers include Dustin Smith and Mickeal Vanderpool.
