Betty Anne Blevins, age 78 of Harrison, AR passed away Sunday, May 28, 2006 at her home.

She was born May 19, 1928 in Upland, CA a daughter of Faris Richard and Grace Elizabeth (Hart) VanSandt.

Betty was a former member of Eagle Heights Baptist Church. She attended Bergman High School and had worked for Dr. Rankin in Harrison. She never met a stranger, enjoyed talking on the phone to friends and family and was a good friend to all. She enjoyed life and lifted the spirits of those she encountered.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Sherman Milford "George" Blevins on May 14, 1998; and one sister, Bobbie Profita.

Betty is survived by her son, Steve Blevins and wife, Connie of Harrison; daughter, Connie Middleton and husband, Mike of Harrison; sister, Carolyn VanSandt of Harrison; grandchildren, Bryan Blevins, Mickey Green, Shelley Blevins, Sherrill Blevins, Chad Middleton, Court Middleton, Chris Middleton, and Caley Middleton; eight great grandchildren and four step great grandchildren.

Service was Thursday, June 1, 2006 at Eagle Heights Baptist Church with Rev. Stanton Cram officiating. Burial was in White Oak Cemetery. Pallbearers were Chad Court, Chris Middleton, Cody Horton, Jake Anderson, Cole Blevins, Jordan Anderson, and Bryan Blevins. Honorary pallbearers were her great grandchildren. Visitation was Wednesday, May 31st at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.
