Obituary
Bettie Lou Madle, age 83 of Compton, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at Highland of Harrison Tims in Harrison, Arkansas.
The daughter of Troy and Cora Curtis was born September 22, 1931 in Vinita, Oklahoma.
Bettie loved the Lord and was a member of Gaither Mountain Church of Christ. She was a Chiropractor's Assistant for her husband, Dr. G.R. Madle while living in Kennett, Missouri. She loved fishing, gardening and being with her sisters, brothers and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dr. G.R. Madle; brothers, Glen, Cecil, Billy, and Harsh "Jim" Curtis; and sister, Drucilla Crosswhite.
Survivors are her sons, Redge Madle and wife Mary of Harrison; Dale Madle and wife Karen of Tavares, Florida and James Madle and wife Darolyn of Rockwall, Texas; brothers, Argil Curtis and Tommy Curtis of Bergman, Arkansas; sisters, Johnnie Sharp of Bergman, Arkansas and
Jessie Creamer and Florene Ramsey both of Lead Hill, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Redge Madle, III, Taylor, Emily, Parker, and Jace Madle; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.
Service was Thursday, October 2, 2014 at Gaither Mountain Church of Christ with David Good officiating.
Burial followed in Plumlee Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
