Obituary
Bertha Belding, age 85 of Searcy, Arkansas passed away at her daughter's residence in Searcy on Tuesday, January 20, 2009.
The daughter of M. W. and Florence (Norvell) Dees, she was born August 25, 1923 at Colgate, Oklahoma.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Belding; a son, William Lee Belding; a grandson, Jimmy Newman; and a brother, Gene Rhine.
Survivors are two daughters, Barbara Vick of Lead Hill and Charlene Brown of Searcy; one brother, L. D. Rhine of Monett, MO; two sisters, Janella Wooden and Georgeann Clevenger both of Monett, MO; a daughter-in-law, Sharon Greenhaw of Harrison; 11 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 11 great-great grandchildren along with many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was Thursday, January 22, 2009 at Coffman Funeral Home. Services were Friday, January 23, 2009 at White Oak Church of God near Bergman. Arlis Burks officiated. Burial followed in York Cemetery at Bergman.
Pallbearers were Eugene Greenhaw, Johnny McKinley, Aubrey Brown, Dale Price, L. D. Friend, and Leroy Belding; Honorary pallbearers were Casey Hinkle, Paul Vick, Larry Belding and Beau Greenhaw.
