Barbara Verdean Smith White, 57, of Vendor, passed away Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at her home in Vendor.

Barbara was born June 6th, 1963 in Harrison to the late Coy Ray and Verdine Ozell (Reed) Smith.

Barbara enjoyed being with her family and especially spending time with her grandchildren. She has a beautiful soul and was a natural caregiver to so many. She treasured her time with her family especially spending time with her husband of 38 years Joey White, her children Nicholas, Jacob and wife Jennifer, Evan and wife Kathern. Her grandchildren Adrianna, Delilah, Trinity, Tailyn, and Ashlyn which were her pride and joy. She always enjoyed penny and bargain shopping, especially buying for others. She was employed with United Cerebral Palsy of Arkansas as a caregiver. Barbara was of a Christian faith and attended Buffalo River Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brothers, Gary, Oscar and Kenneth Smith; niece, Nadene Sparks; sister-in-law, Janish Ann Smith; brother-in-laws, James Kenneth Campbell and Lanie White.

She is survived by her husband, Joey White of the home; three children, Nicholas White of Vendor, Evan White and wife Kathern of Vendor, Jacob (Toejoe) White and wife Jennifer of Hasty; mother and father-in law Claudie and Diane White of Marianna; two brothers, Samuel J. and wife Lorene Smith of Harrison, Louis Carl and wife Kathy Smith of Bellefonte; five sisters, Mildred and husband Wesley Sparks of Harrison, Nancy and husband Jim George of Valley Springs, Carolyn and husband Darrell Campbell of Jasper, Janis and husband Harold Freeman of Pelsor, Susan and husband Ricky Smith of Vendor, five grandchildren, Adrianna, Delilah, Trinity, Tailyn, Ashlyn; sisters-in-law, Jackie Smith of Valley Springs, Francis Smith of Deer, Tammy White of Batavia, Julie White of Joplin; one aunt, Linda Coffey of Jasper; many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be April 30, 2021 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper.

Funeral service will be Saturday May 1, 2021 at 10:00am at Buffalo River Baptist Church in St. Joe, AR, with Pastor Bill Beach officiating, burial will follow at Crossroads Cemetery in Deer, AR.

Pallbearers are Nicholas, Evan and Jacob White, David Scott, Ricky Smith, Harold Freeman, John Palmer, and Johnny Ray Smith.

Honorary pallbearers are Bryan Campbell, Jason Mason, Corey Campbell, Landon White, Landon Smith, and many more.
