Barbara Ann Taylor, age 77, of Harrison, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, May 24, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.
She was born to Leonard Lee and Irene (Harp) Smith on December 28, 1948, in Harrison, Arkansas. She is preceded in death by her parents and her beloved siblings, Jerry Smith, Brenda Jo Cowan, and Melissa Irene Hunter.
Barbara shared a beautiful life and enduring love with her husband of 60 years, Roy "Buster" Taylor, who survives her. Together they built a strong and loving family that was the center of her world.
She is also lovingly remembered by her daughters, Elisa Ann Johnson of Harrison, Christie (Carl) Campbell of Lead Hill, and Leah (Kylan) Campbell of Branson. Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren, Josh and Candis Cross of Peel, Shianne and Kylan McCutcheon of Parthenon, Jonathan and Peyton Jenkins of Harrison, Melinda and Landon Logan of Alpena, Chasitee and Hunter Arthur of Rogersville, Chelsie and Trent Floyd of Ozark, and Kelyn and Dylan Eddings of Harrison. She is also blessed with 14 great-grandchildren, each of whom she loved deeply.
Barbara found her greatest joy in spending time with her family. She had a special love for horses and treasured the memories made taking her daughters to rodeos and horse shows over the years. One of her proudest moments was at the Missouri Fox Trotters Celebration in Ava, Missouri, where she watched her beloved horse "Lil Liza Jane" win the Open 2-Year-Old World Champion title in 1994.
Barbara will be remembered for her unwavering devotion to her family, her kind heart, and the joy she found in life's simple and meaningful moments. Her love and legacy will live on in all who knew her.
Visitation and Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 29, 2026 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison. The visitation will begin at 1 PM, with the funeral service immediately following at 2 PM. Pastor Jerry Farmer will officiate. Burial will be in Summers Cemetery under the direction of Coffman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Jonathan Jenkins, Wyatt Cross, Colton Cross, Kylan McCutcheon, Carry Smith, and Clayton Smith.
Honorary pallbearers are Kylan Campbell, Carl Campbell, Lathain Dees, and Donald Smith.
