Barbara Jean Sloan, age 79 of Marshall, Arkansas passed away Thursday July 25, 2019 in Springdale, Arkansas.

The daughter of the late Robert and Dorothy (Myers) Bailey was born on August 30, 1939 in Philadelphia, Mississippi.

Barbara enjoyed painting, creating art, was very knowledgeable with computers and was an accomplished writer, having had a few articles published in magazines.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Sloan of Marshall; one son, Terry Sloan of Philadelphia, Mississippi; one daughter, Lisa Champagne of Harrison, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Dillon Jeter, Cullen Kuykendall, Neil Kuykendall and Quinton Kuykendall; four great-grandchildren, Kyle Jeter, Malaya Kuykendall, Lorelei "Rocky" Jeter and Ellie Kuykendall and many other family and friends who will mourn her passing.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
