Obituary
Barbara Jean Darnell Rorie, age 62 of Harrison, AR passed away Thursday, August 17, 2006 at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison following a long illness.
She was born May 2, 1944 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania a daughter of William Lloyd and Barbara (Harris) Darnell. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors are her husband, Jimmie R. Rorie of the home; a brother, William Darnell of Colorado; a sister, Elaine Santucci of Rochester, New York; four children, Allison Fennell and husband David of Hilton Head, South Carolina, James Medina and wife, Ondria and Aaron Alford and wife, Kristen all of Diamond City, AR; six grandchildren, Kara and Baleigh Fennell and Elisabeth, Kendra, Abby, and Daniel Medina; and a host of family and friends.
Barbara will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Service was held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 22 at Liberty Church of God in Harrison with Pastor Kenneth Crow, Pastor Lee Parnell, Pastor Lowell Tregle, and Pastor Dale Dickinson officiating.
Burial was in Hilltop Cemetery at the Hilltop Community.
Visitation was Monday at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.
Donations to help with funeral expenses may be made to the First Federal Bank in Harrison.
