Barbara Ann McKee, of Everton, passed away at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center on Thursday, March 5, 2026. She was 80 years old.
The daughter of Ernest and Vera Mae (Doyle) Howell was born on July 12, 1945 in Middleton, Tennessee.
Barbara was a dedicated and hardworking woman throughout her life. She had a kind and generous heart and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Above all, Barbara placed her family at the center of her life. Her children and grandchildren meant the world to her, and she treasured every moment spent with them. Her great-grandchildren were truly the apple of her eye and brought her immense joy. Barbara will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Harold Howell, Gaines Doyle, Kenneth Howell, and Roger Howell; and one sister, Betty Faye Thompson.
Survivors include one daughter and her husband, Angela and Melvin Byler, of Everton; one son, Steve McKee, of Bolivar, TN; one sister, Shirley Mays, of Bolivar, TN; two brothers, Samuel Doyle, of College Park, MD and Ricky Howell, of Middleton, TN; seven grandchildren; Christopher (Kayla) Byler, Falicity Byler, Saquoya Byler, Jeremiah (Ashley) Byler, Michelle McDonald, Elizabeth Harvey, and Barbara McKee; four great grandchildren, Bentley Byler, Bryson Byler, Braxton Byler, Braylee Byler and her fifth great grandchild, Hadley Grace, on the way; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
