Barbara Faye McCutcheon of Flippin, Arkansas passed away Friday, April 7, 2017 at BRMC in Mountain Home at the age of 72.
The daughter of Ira and Geneva (Davis) Lansdown was born February 1, 1945 in Ava, Missouri.
She was a resident of Flippin the past 42 years, moving from Pea Ridge. She was a member of the West Road Church of Christ in Mountain Home. She worked for the US Postal Service in Flippin for 29 years, with 10 of those years serving as Postmaster.
Barbara loved to spend time with her family, crocheting and shopping. She was a devoted wife to Luell for 53 years and a loving mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ira and Geneva Lansdown; an infant brother, Darrel Lansdown and a sister, Doris (Lansdown) Johnson.
Barbara is survived by her husband, Luell McCutcheon of the home; her son, Delbert C. McCutchen and wife, Vivian of Flippin; two brothers, Clifford Lansdown of Clarkridge, AR and Charles Lansdown of Denton, TX; one sister, Norma (Lansdown) Swan of Colorado; one grandson, Kyle McCutchen and wife Amanda of Bull Shoals, AR; and her church family at West Road Church of Christ.
Funeral services are at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at West Road Church of Christ in Mountain Home with Minister Ivie Powell officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Flippin.
Visitation is Monday from 6-8 PM at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.
Pallbearers are Kyle McCutchen, Dennis Tennison, Don Kirby, Bill Kirchens, Kevin Flippin and Richard Washam.
Honorary Pallbearers are Jim Porterfield, J.N. Ball, Hayden Sexton and Mitchell McCutchen.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Fair Haven Children's Home, 3132 N. Fair Haven Loop, Strafford, Missouri, 65757.
