Barbara Geneva Horn, 82 of Everton, Arkansas, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 16, 2019 at her daughter's home surrounded by her family.

She was born at Bur Oak, Arkansas in Searcy County on June 4, 1937 to Monroe and Maybell (Yancey) Milam. She was a lifelong resident of the area and a member of Hasty Holiness Church.

Barbara was a hard worker, spending 25 years at Tyson and all her free time at home being a wife, mother, farmer and caregiver. She enjoyed gardening, canning and being outdoors. She was an excellent cook, known for her potato salad, dressing, chocolate gravy and biscuits. Her family was her life and she loved them beyond measure. She very sympathetic to the needs of others, offering help or advice when needed. Barbara was the "Boss" of her family; she was very loving but also known for her toughness. Her strong presence and love of her family will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 54 years, John Horn, an infant daughter, 3 sisters and a brother.

Barbara is survived by her six children, Johnny Horn, Geneva Morris and husband Larry, Billy Horn, Paul Horn and wife Angie, Stacy Horn and wife Kim and Bobby Horn; three brothers and their wives, Benny and Marlene Milam, Paul and Verna Jean Milam and Don and Laurie Milam; two sisters-in-law, Willie Jean Taylor and Novella Horn; five grandchildren, Micaela Horn, Shane Hensley (Denyse), Brad Morris (Edith), Cody Horn (Sarah) and Tyler Horn; four great grandchildren, Kevin Morris, Kyle Morris, Haley Broyles (Todd) and Taylor Hensley and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM, Friday, December 20, 2019 at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Harrison with Bro. Leo Dye and Bro. Eddie Reed officiating. Burial will follow at Western Grove Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Shane Hensley, Brad Morris, Cody Horn, Tyler Horn, Andy McCutcheon, Randy McCutcheon, Lynn White and Dewayne White.

Honorary pallbearers are Micaela Horn, Kevin Morris, Kyle Morris, Taylor Hensley, Haley and Todd Broyles.

Visitation will be Thursday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
