Barbara Ann Burlsworth, age 84, of Harrison, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 31, 2024 at Hillcrest Nursing Home.

The daughter of Sumlar and Audrey (Loudermilk) Long was born June 19, 1940 in Snowball, Arkansas.

Barbara graduated from Harrison High School in 1957. She was a successful realtor for many years. Barbara was a member of Northside Church of Christ.

She was known to her beloved grandkids and family as Gam and she attended every event possible for her grandchildren. Barbara had a love for the Harrison Goblins and her Razorbacks.  She attended as many games as possible and, as her health deteriorated, she listened on the radio.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Sumlar and Audrey Long; an infant sister; Bennie Lavern Long, Leo Burlsworth and son Brandon Burlsworth.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law; Marty and Vickie Burlsworth and Grady and Jeannie Burlsworth, four grandchildren; Ashli (Jeremy) Williams, Joe Don Burlsworth, Brady (Kelley) Burlsworth, Aaron (Rachel) Burlsworth; five great grandchildren; Foster Caudle, Maverick Williams, Blake, Carter and Landry Burlsworth; and a host of extended family, friends and her Hillcrest staff whom she loved.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 7 (2024) from 5 PM to 7 PM at Northside Church of Christ.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 8 at 10 AM, at Northside Church of Christ with Steve Powers and Rick Watts officiating.

A private family burial at Gass Cemetery will be held at a later date.
