Obituary
Barbara Sue (Kirk) Burks of Berryville, Arkansas went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at the Willard Walker Hospice House in Fayetteville, Arkansas at the age of 77.
The daughter of Commadore and Virginia (Ball) Kirk was born May 20, 1940 at Eureka Springs, Arkansas.
Barbara was a member of the Freedom Full Gospel Fellowship Church. She worked for Poynor's Drug Store for 36 years before retiring.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Donna Harp.
Barbara is survived by her son, David Burks and wife Michelle of Hunstville, AR; her daughter, Sonyi Burks of Berryville, AR; two granddaughters, Brandie Wells and husband Chris of Elkins, AR and Ashley Kimbrough and husband Matthew of Bella Vista, AR; one great granddaughter, Mollie Kate Wells of Elkins and McGruff, her Shih Tzu, who faithfully never left her side; one brother, Gary Kirk of Holiday Island and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and loved ones.
There will be no services. Arrangements and cremation under the direction of Coffman Funeral Home of Harrison. On-line condolences may be left at coffmanfh.com.
Memorial donations may be made to the Freedom Full Gospel Fellowship Building Fund, Josh and Jessica Cornell Missionary Ministries, Haven of the Ozarks Animal Sanctuary in Washburn, Missouri or Gideons International.
