Barbara Faye (Baughman) Adams, of Harrison, passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at Hillcrest Home. She was 85 years old.

The daughter of John Lewis and Cecil (Patton) Baughman was born on July 21, 1940 in Harrison, Arkansas.

Barbara and her husband owned and operated the antique store, Granny’s Mansion, for many years. She was an avid Arkansas Razorbacks fan and one of her grandson’s biggest supporters, cherishing every opportunity to watch him play basketball. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, decorating, and listening to Gospel music, and was blessed with a beautiful alto voice.

Barbara loved God, her family, and her friends. She was a gentle, caring woman with a kind heart, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Adams; her parents; one brother, J.C. Baughman; and one sister, Lenora Damguaard.

Survivors include one son and his wife, Chris and Paula Adams; one grandson and his wife, Luke and Whitney Adams; two great grandsons, Camden and Layne Adams; four brothers, T.J., Frank, John, and Kenny Baughman; two sisters, Betty Jo “Bet” Anderson and Louella Tabor; and a host of in-laws, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 19, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Southern Hills Missionary Baptist Church, 178 James Way, Harrison, AR.

The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Brent Rosson, Jessie Cecil, and the nurses and staff at Hillcrest Home for the many years of loving care given to Barbara.
