Obituary
Avo Martha Kilgore, age 87 of Mt. Sherman, Arkansas passed away Monday, July 1, 2013 at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison, Arkansas.
The daughter of Roy and Ada (Gaylor) Woodruff was born October 29, 1925 at Jasper, Arkansas.
Avo was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, canning and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She attended Mt. Sherman Assembly of God Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jim Kilgore; sons, Manuel and Dennis Kilgore; and a brother, Woody Woodruff.
Survivors are her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Steve Flinn of Harrison, Arkansas; her daughter-in-law, Darlene Kilgore of Batavia, Arkansas; brother, Guy Woodruff of Harrison, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Melissa Brown, Chris Kilgore, Chase Smith, and Kevin Flinn; six great-grandchildren, Travis Kilgore, Kalin Nicholson, Bradley Kilgore, Olivia Brown, Brayden Brown and Jayda Kilgore.
Visitation was Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper, Arkansas.
Service was Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Jasper with Raymond White officiating.
Burial followed in Mt. Sherman Cemetery with pallbearers being Chris Kilgore, Chase Smith, Travis Kilgore, Kevin Flinn, and Michael Woodruff.
Honorary pallbearers were Bradley Kilgore and Brayden Brown.
