AvaNell (Qualls) Middleton of Rock Creek, Arkansas passed from this life on March 23, 2018 at Twin Lakes Therapy and Rehab in Flippin at the age of 79.

She was born on April 12, 1938 to Arch Franklin Qualls and Callie Jane (Holt) Qualls Middleton at Sylamore, Arkansas in Izard County.

Nell was a homemaker, she loved to spend time with her family and friends.  She enjoyed reading and spending time outdoors and she loved fishing.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Holly Kenneth Middleton; her mother, Callie Middleton; her father, Arch Qualls, who passed away before she was born; and her father, Charlie Middleton; her sisters, Myrtle Jared, Marie Pierce, Gurthie Osborn, Wanda Middleton and Pearl Davis and one brother, Jesse Qualls.

Nell is survived by a son, Kenneth Dale Junior Middleton and wife Jo Ann of Harriet; a daughter Rebecca (Becky) Jane Smith and husband Kevin of Alpena; 6 granddaughters, Bridget, Amy, Shiela, Brittany, Ashley, and Hailey; 2 grandsons, Kevin and Dalton; 6 great granddaughters, Alyssa, Kalliegh, Holly, Sabrina, Claudia and Madison; 2 great grandsons, Kenneth and Raeland and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services are at 2:00 PM Monday, March 26, 2018 at Rock Creek Assembly of God with Pastor Phillip Avey officiating.  Visitation will be held one hour before the service at the church.  Burial will follow the services at Rock Creek Cemetery under the direction of Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.

Pallbearers are Kevin Smith, Sr., Kevin Smith, Jr., Dalton Smith, Troy Dye, Michael Dye and Holly Joe Dye.  Honorary Pallbearer is Aaron Dye.
