Obituary
Ava Nell Ramsey, age 75 of Harrison, departed this life on Sunday, June 8, 2008 at St. John's Regional Health Center in Springfield, Missouri.
The daughter of Andrew and Lulan (Ramey) Wallis, she was born June 2, 1933 at Yardell, Arkansas.
Ava Nell was of the Pentecostal faith. After working at different jobs, in her later years was a Home Health Aide, giving her time and care to people.
She was very dedicated to her family and enjoyed spending time with them.
Ava Nell was preceded in death by her parents; her children; a son, Billie Teague and infant twins; a sister, Rose Plumlee; a granddaughter, Stephanie Taylor and a son-in-law, Robert Coleman.
She is survived by her husband, James Henry Ramsey of St. Joe; two sons, Jimmy Teague and wife Connie of St. Joe, and Kim Teague and wife, Pam of Leola, AR; two daughters, Judy Coleman of Clarksville, AR and Pat "Tweeny" Taylor and husband, Tommy of Valley Springs, AR; 11 grandchildren; a number of great grandchilden; a niece, Erva Lee Moore of Western Grove and a nephew, Dell Plumlee of Harrison; and several great nephews and nieces.
Visitation for Mrs. Ramsey was held at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison. Services were Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at St. Joe Baptist Church with Derwin Martin and Paul Holder officiating. Burial will follow in Silver Hill Cemetery in Searcy County.
Pallbearers are Michael Teague, Bobby Coleman, Jesse Teague, Chester Taylor, John Adams and Billy John Mason. Honorary pallbearers are Tommy Keeling, Walter Arthur, Jack Michael, and special neighbors, Richard and Tammy Stevens
Memorials may be made in her memory to Silver Hill Cemetery Fund, c/o Vance Ferguson, HC 89, Box 100, Marshall, AR 72650.
