Audry E. Adamson, age 87, of Harrison, Arkansas, passed away at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center on Saturday, May 3, 2025.
The daughter of Denver Short Sanders and Dovie Frances (Pruitt) Sanders was born February 2, 1938 in Harrison. Audry was a lifelong resident of Harrison and had recently been attending Ozark Baptist Church with her grandbabies. She was a longtime member of the Moose Lodge and the Order of the Eastern Star.
Audry enjoyed crocheting, crafting, and making shirts and hats. She loved to cook, and she and her husband cooked and catered for countless individuals at the Moose Lodge, as well as auctions and benefit events.
Audry loved her family and adored her grandbabies. Her sweet, caring, and endearing spirit will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Olen Dale Adamson; a daughter, Patsy Tabor; and three sons, Joe Tabor, James Tabor, and Loyd Tabor.
Audry is survived by her sons, Paul Adamson and wife Jennifer of Harrison, Pete Adamson and wife Janet of Fort Smith, and Mike Tabor of Lebanon, MO; two daughters, Beverly Francis and husband Bill of Springfield, MO and Brenda Appling and husband Greg of Lake of the Ozarks, MO; her special friend, Tommy Phelps of Harrison; numerous grandchildren; several great grandchildren and a host of extended relatives and dear friends.
A special thank-you to her caregivers, Dakota, Jessica, Kimber, and Kayla.
Visitation will be from 10 AM to 11 AM, Friday, May 9, 2025 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison, with a graveside service immediately following at 11 AM Friday at Maplewood Cemetery. Pastor Daniel Clement will officiate.
Pallbearers are Paul Adamson, Dakota Adamson, Brian Turner, Jimmy Scaggs, Kivet Conner, and Austin Norman.
Honorary pallbearers are Randy Rea and Sean Stewart.
