Audie Bass, age 95 of Hasty, Arkansas passed away Thursday, May 24, 2012 at Bristol Pointe Health and Rehab in Harrison, Arkansas.
The daugther of Osborn Rosco Casey and Gurtey (Swain) Casey was born on February 14, 1917 in Parthenon, Arkansas.
Audie liked to sew, make quilts, garden, baking cookies and canning. She loved her kids and grandkids. She was a member of the Western Grove Bible Church.
Audie is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Gilliam Monroe Bass; 4 brothers and 3 sisters; children, Mary Lou Cokendolpher, Buddy Monroe Bass, Maxine Bass, John William Bass and Clinton Ray Bass; grandchildren, Mark Cokendolpher and Jamie Bass.
She is survived by her sons, Dennis Bass of Harrison, Arkansas, Lacey Bass and his wife, Kaye of Harrison, Arkansas, Jim Bass of Yardelle, Arkansas and Glen Bass and his wife, Brenda of Pyatt, Arkansas, sisters Virgie Ramsey of Chicago, Illinois and Mary Jo Sierra of Chicago, Illinois, 31 grandchildren, 60 great grandchildren and 9 great-great- children and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Harrison.
Funeral service was Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel. Dennis Sisco will officate. Burial followed in Hasty Cemetery.
Pallbrearers were family members.
Honorary pallbearers included her brothers and sisters of Western Grove Bible Church and the Legacy Hospice nursing staff.
