Arthur Lee Sims, of Harrison, passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at The Springs of Mt. Vista.  He was 93 years old.

The son of Earl Stephen and Essie Ellen (Newberry) Sims was born on June 14, 1930 in Compton, Arkansas.

Arthur was a missionary, in the Philippines, off and on for many years. He was a member of the Boxley Church.  Arthur enjoyed horses and was a loving father and grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Essie Sims; four brothers; four sisters; and one grandson, Reynaldo Arthur Stephen Estrella.

Survivors include three children, Lahondra Sue Estrella, Sharon Kay Duggins (Lowell), and Carson Eugene Sims (Janet); nine grandchildren; three sisters, Betty Villines, Earlene Villines (Hillard), and Elda Carter; and many nieces and nephews.

A private family visitation will be held at Coffman Funeral Home.

Graveside service is Monday, August 21, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Plumlee Cemetery.  Ricky Brisco will officiate.  Pallbearers include family and friends.
