Obituary
Arthur Riley Jarrott, age 70 of Harrison, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at his home.
The son of J.C. and Willie Evelyn (Stockup) Jarrott, he was born March 1, 1939 in Lubbock, Texas.
Art graduated from Lubbock High School, then moved to California before coming to Arkansas. He was in the U.S. Navy and enjoyed golfing, hang gliding, and his 300 ZX. He also enjoyed traveling and culture, especially Japanese culture.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Tommy, Chris, and Jay Jarrott.
Survivors are his sister-in-law, Carolyn Jarrott of Harrison; nieces, Christy Jones and husband, Tim of Evening Shade, Jessica Sanders and husband, Justin of Calico Rock, and Donna Jarrott of New Mexico; nephews, Johnny Jarrott and Christopher Jarrott both of New Mexico, and Lonnie Jarrott of Arizona; five great-nephews, Kevin Jones, Zach Jarrott, Colton Jarrott, Nick Jarrott, and Corey Jarrott; and a great-niece, Neela Jarrott.
Visitation for Art was Saturday, May 30, 2009 before the service begins in Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Harrison. Honarary Pallbearers were Tommy Wallace, Denton Reddell, Quentin Reddell, Don Snowden, Mike Wright, Tim Jones, and Justin Sanders.
Cremation will follow.
