Arthur "Frank" Barksdale, age 94 of Marble Falls, AR, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 5 ^th at Newton County Nursing Home in Jasper, AR.

The late Denver and Hattie Barksdale son was born April 26, 1928, in Smithdale, MS.

At 94, he was preceded in death by too many beautiful souls to mention.

He is survived by his daughter, Linda Goertz of Marble Falls, AR; his brother, Harold Barksdale of Stilwell, OK; 6 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

No services are planned per Frank's request.  Family and friends are scattered far and wide so he said "No service" He loved his family and friends and as the patriarch, we listened.  He said they should "go float the Buffalo or go fishing instead."

Funeral arrangements are by Coffman Funeral Home of Jasper.
