Obituary
Arlis Arvil Shatswell, age 74 of Hasty, Arkansas passed away Saturday, July 28, 2018 at NARMC in Harrison, Arkansas.
The son of Arvil and Alma (Ricketts) Shatswell was born on May 10, 1944 in Vendor, Arkansas.
Arlis was a loving father and loved spending time with his grandbabies. He also enjoyed hunting and horseback riding. Arlis loved playing the guitar, singing and listening to music.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother; Jerry Lynn Shatswell, three sisters; Marge Hughes, Lavern "Walsie" Criner, Carolyn Faye Smith and two grandchildren.
Arlis is survived by his children, Tammy Bliss, Buddy Shatswell, Clayton Shatswell, Sherry Bower, Tara Kaye Breer and Jeremy Shatswell; several grandchildren, the mother of his children; Shirley Shatswell along with many other family and friends who will miss him.
Memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, August 4, 2018 at Log Hall Church in Vendor with Rev. Jim Hatfield officiating.
