Obituary
Arlene L. Phipps, age 76 of Harrison, AR passed away Sunday, April 9, 2006 at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison.
She was born October 29, 1929 in Council Bluffs, IA a daughter of Leonard and Irene (Ziess) Hartford. She had lived in Harrison since 1992 and was of the Lutheran faith. She was a homemaker.
Arlene was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Willard Phipps in 1995; a son, Michael E. Phipps; and two brothers, Nicholas and Ronald Cundiff.
Surviving Arlene are her children, Catherine Phipps of Western Grove, AR, Susen Gregersen of Watertown, SD, Steve Phipps of Japan, Andrew Phipps of San Bernardino, CA, Judy Coleman of Magnolia, AR, James Phipps of Fayetteville, AR, and Barbara Chiles of Austin, TX; sister, Mary Lou Newman of Wisconsin; brother, Lloyd Cundiff of Iowa; ten grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
Visitation was held Friday, April 14th at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison. Service was April 15th at Holder Chapel at Western Grove Cemetery. Burial followed in Western Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers are Jim Phipps, Steve Phipps, Michael Andrew Phipps, Andrew Phipps, David Coleman, and Eric Gregersen. Honorary pallbearers are her grandsons.
