Arland "Doonie" Young Carlton, Jr., age 72 of Harrison, Arkansas passed away Thursday, November 24, 2016 in Harrison.
The son of Arland Sr. and Mildred (Clark) Carlton was born on October 17, 1944 in Harrison, Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 children, William Bert Carlton and Zanetta Evelyn Carlton.
He is survived by his wife, Janis (Harding) Carlton of Harrison; 2 grandchildren, Zanetta Burchfield and Cynthia Carlton; 2 brothers, Jim Carlton and Gary Carlton, both of Harrison; 3 sisters, Debbie Branch and Melissa Block of Harrison and Kay Moring of Dallas, Texas; a special nephew, Wesley Harding and a special niece, Lynn Harding Hickenbottom; and many other family and friends who will mourn his passing.
A memorial graveside service will be held Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 1:00 pm at the Dees Cemetery with Richard Matlock officiating.
Cremation arrangements are being handled by Coffman Funeral Home of Harrison. Online condolences may be left at www.coffmanfh.com.
