Obituary
Ardis Eileen Paschal, age 91 of Jasper, Arkansas passed away Thursday, June 26, 2014 at the Newton County Nursing Home in Jasper.
The daughter of Lloyd and Kate (Hedgecoke) McCormick was born on September 23, 1922 in Plemons, Texas.
She and her husband moved to Newton County in 1981 from Amarillo, Texas. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend to everyone she met.
Ardis was a member of the Deer Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William Elvin "Pat" Paschal and three infant granddaughters.
Survivors are one son, Donald William Paschal of Santa Fe, New Mexico; one daughter, Nan Van Hemert of Jasper, Arkansas; two brothers, Roy McCormick of Holland, Texas and Donald McCormick of Wellman, Iowa; two sisters, Fern Prock of Weatherford, Texas and Dean Flow of Ft. Worth, Texas; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10 A.M. Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at the Deer Baptist Church with David Charles Faught officiating. Burial will follow in the Crossroads Cemetery near Deer, Arkansas.
Pallbearers will be the men of the Deer Baptist Church.
Visitation from 6 to 8 P.M. Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Deer Baptist Church, P.O. Box 70, Deer, Arkansas 72628.
