Obituary
Annie Ethel Yates has gone home to be with her Jesus on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at Hospice House in Harrison, Arkansas at the age of 88.
The daughter of Lee and Vinnie (Hayes) Nugent was born July 31, 1928 in Ferriday, Louisiana.
Annie has been a resident of Harrison for the last 11 years, moving here from Bryant, Arkansas. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. She was a great woman of faith, and loved to tell everyone about Jesus. Annie enjoyed gardening, cooking for her family and going to her church, Life Harvest Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Floyd and Bobby Nugent; two sisters, Flossie Black and Viola Cox; her son and daughter-in-law, Ricky Lynn and Janice Marie Cochran; two son's-in-law, Robert S. Clark and Alan Emanuel, and a grandson-in-law, Patrick Edmondson.
Annie is survived by her sons, Mark T. Cochran and M.A. Cochran, Jr., and his wife Paula; four daughters, Thelma June Clark, Margaret Ketcherside and her husband, Ben; Madlyn Emanuel, and Rebecca Pastor and her husband Bill; 18 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, 13 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and her faithful dog, Timmy.
Services will be held on Monday, October 10, 2016 at 10:00 AM at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Harrison with Rev. Jethey Henson officiating. Graveside services will follow at 3:00 PM at Forest Hills Memorial Park in Alexander, Arkansas.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Joseph Alexander, David Alexander, Bryan Clark, Michael Emanuel, Freddie Emanuel, Jason Boernson, Colby Alexander and Travis Edmondson.
Honorary pallbearers are her great grandsons and her son's-in-law, Ben Ketcherside and Bill Pastor.
Visitation will be Sunday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in her memory to Life Harvest Church, 2423 Hwy 7 N, Harrison, Arkansas, 72601.
The family wanted to say a special thank you to NARMC, Hospice House, 1st Floor Tower Staff, Dr. John Sorg, John Hukriede, PA and Wound Care Staff.
