Annie Lou Whittenburg, age 77 of Harrison, passed away Thursday, February 24, 2022 at Newton County Nursing Home in Jasper, Arkansas.
The daughter of Wilburn and Tressie (Waters) Reynolds was born March 2, 1944 at Hasty, Arkansas. She lived in this area most of her life, returning to the area 42 years ago from Gentry.
She worked several years at Levi-Strauss and also as a housekeeper and at Boone County Independent Living. Annie enjoyed gardening and flowers. She loved to be out in nature, watching things grow and hummingbirds. She was a devoted and caring wife, mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Gerald Whittenburg, brothers, Lowell James Reynolds, W.L. "Dub" Reynolds and a sister, Agnes Lawson.
Annie is survived by her daughter, Lori Whittenburg and husband Joshua Guido and her granddaughter, Julie Treat and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 10 AM, Monday, February 28, 2022 at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Heath Kirkpatrick officiating. Burial will follow at Eoff Cemetery.
Open visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service beginning at 9 AM.
Pallbearers are family and friends.
