Anna Bell Wortham walked into Heaven to meet her Lord, and her son, Randy, on May 14, 2026. She passed away at home with family by her side at the age of 81.
She was the daughter of Dink and Zelmar (Trammell) Campbell and was born in Richland, Arkansas on June 3, 1944. If you asked her, she’d tell you she was born down by the Buffalo, which is why she loved it so much.
She graduated St. Joe High School in 1962. She spent the majority of her life behind a stove. She loved to cook and made the best yeast rolls and cinnamon rolls. She loved to read every book she could get her hands on. Anna loved to learn about history as much as she could and loved to do puzzle books. She loved her dog, Nubbin’, and she loved her goats. Anna loved to grow gardens and flowers and was constantly trying to get more. She loved to go fishing when she got the chance but was always up for a good road trip and a cheeseburger and a Nehi Peach pop.
She was a lifetime resident of Harrison, and a member of Harrison Faith Assembly where she was recently saved and baptized.
She is preceded in death by her son, Randy Wade Wortham; her parents, Dink and Zelmar Campbell; her sister, Juanita Campbell; brother, Harold Wayne Campbell; other infant siblings; nephew, Johnnie Glover; son-in-law, Harry Carmen; and special friend, Roy Valentine.
Anna is survived by her daughters, Crystal Wortham, Lee Smith (Bryan), and Janie Carmen; brothers, T.J. Campbell, Jesse (Patricia) Cambell, Bill (Carolyn) Campbell, Randy Campbell, and Bobby Campbell; sisters, Joyce Campbell, Shirley Speak, and Diane Jones; and her grandkids, Jessica Cowart (Steven), D.J. Eli (Melanie) , Derek Eli, Brandon Carmen, Michael (Anastasia) Carmen, and Jason (Mary) Carmen. She also had a whole passel of great grandkids, nieces, and nephews that she loved dearly.
Open visitation will be held on Monday, May 18, from 5 PM to 7 PM at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.
Funeral service will be at 10 AM, Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at Coffman Funeral Home with Bro. Billy Sullivan officiating. Graveside services will immediately follow at Kilburn Cemetery with Pastor Scott Brandon officiating.
Pallbearers include D.J. Eli, Derek Eli, Steven Cowart, Calvin Cowart, Bryan Smith, and Tommy Campbell.
The family would like to extend the most sincere thank you to Hospice of the Hills for the encouragement, support, and kindness during this time. We are forever grateful.
