Obituary

Ann Elizabeth Rackley, 78, of Harrison, Arkansas, passed away on July 26, 2026. She was born on April 25, 1948, in Blackfork, Arkansas.

Ann was a loving and devoted mom and grandmother who has finally been reunited with her husband, James Larry Rackley. Ann's life was centered around her grandchildren, Chase, Bergen, Emersyn, Melina, Ava, and Ella, as well as her exceptionally old beloved dog, Sparky, who somehow managed to stay alive just for her. Ann was also a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Harrison, where she was active in her Sunday School class and volunteered her time in service to the church.

Ann was kind, loving, and stubborn. She loved puzzles, quilting, gardening, and cooking for her family. Ann had horrible taste in movies and an unnatural fondness for the movie *Top Dog*. (My apologies if you watch it, but do watch it in her memory.)

Her final meal was catfish, watermelon, and a Pepsi. If someone had asked her to pick one last meal, that probably would have been it.

She is survived by her brother, Jimmy Ray Wiseman; her daughter, Christi Baker; her sons, Phillip Rackley and Mark Rackley; and her beloved grandchildren, Chase, Bergen, Emersyn, Melina, Ava, and Ella.

A graveside service celebrating Ann's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 31, 2026, at Elmwood Cemetery under the direction of Coffman Funeral Home of Harrison. Pastor Rob Davis will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to the Ozark Humane Society, the Alzheimer's Association , or the Kidney Cancer Association.

Ann lived a simple, humble life that I hope we all can attain. God and family were her priorities (after Sparky, of course), and she found joy in the small things. She lived a very good life. She will be missed every single day, remembered with countless smiles, and loved always.
